In celebration of Vietnam Science and Technology Day on 18/5, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering organized various activities to honor the achievements of scientists and to present the Institute's science and technology results to the Government leadership, ministries - sectors, the scientific community, and the people nationwide:

Participated in a booth showcasing the Institute's scientific research and technology development results at the Ceremony to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day on 18-5, the Young Scientists Conference 2023, and the 2022 Journalism Award Ceremony for Science and Technology at the headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Technology from 17 ÷ 18/5/2023.

At the Ceremony to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day, Institute Director Phan Đăng Phong, on behalf of public science and technology organizations, reported on the lessons learned in science, technology and innovation activities at the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering to Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, Minister of Science and Technology Huỳnh Thành Đạt, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Hồng Diên, and many leaders of central and local committees, ministries, and sectors; state management units for science and technology, scientists, and press agencies.

Participated in the scientific workshop themed “Promoting scientific research to serve the process of innovation and improvement of development policies for the Industry and Trade sector, contributing to the effective implementation of the country's industrialization and modernization goals in the new context” chaired by Comrade Nguyễn Sinh Nhật Tân - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, held at the Institute for Industry and Trade Strategy and Policy Research.

Attended the opening ceremony of the 2023 Science and Technology Book Exhibition themed: “Reading culture inspires innovation” and the workshop: “Skills for exploiting science and technology information and writing international scientific articles” at the National Agency for Science and Technology Information.

Published the science and technology activity results in the Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology, Cong Thuong Newspaper, Vietnam Television VTV1, and other media agencies.
