In the atmosphere of the entire Party, people, and armed forces emulating achievements to welcome Party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Congress of the Party, on the morning of May 29, 2020, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering solemnly organized the 30th Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

Attending and directing the Congress, on behalf of the Hanoi Enterprise Bloc Party Committee, there was comrade Trinh Huy Thanh, Secretary of the Bloc Party Committee, and comrades of the Working Team No. 1 of the Hanoi Enterprise Bloc Party Committee.

On behalf of the Party Committee of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, there were comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Institute; comrade Vu Van Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director; comrades of the Institute's Party Committee and all Party members of the Party Committee.

On behalf of the guests, there were comrade Nguyen Hai Ha, Deputy Director; comrades who are leaders of specialized units under the Institute.

The 30th Party Congress of the Institute is a congress of continuity, inheriting the achievements of the previous term. The results of the congress are of great importance for the leadership in implementing political tasks in the 2020-2025 term.

The Congress heard and discussed the Political Report on evaluating and reviewing the implementation of the resolution of the Party Congress of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering for the 2015-2020 term and the orientation, objectives, and tasks for the 2020-2025 term; and the Report on self-criticism of the Executive Committee of the Institute's Party Committee for the 29th term, 2015 – 2020.

Comrade Trinh Huy Thanh, Secretary of the Hanoi Enterprise Bloc Party Committee, delivered a speech and directed the Congress.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Institute's Party Committee for the 30th term, consisting of 07 comrades, ensuring standards and structure as required, demonstrating continuity, inheritance, and renewal; the Congress also elected the delegation to attend the 3rd Congress of Delegates of the Hanoi Enterprise Bloc Party. The Institute's Party Committee bid farewell to two comrades who were members of the 29th-term Party Committee and did not continue to serve on the 30th-term Party Committee.

After more than half a day of intense work, the Party Congress of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering completed all the program contents. The Congress approved the Resolution with the central goal of building the Institute into a leading research and deployment unit in Vietnam, with prestige on the international market in the fields of mechanical design and manufacturing, automation, and synchronous integration of industrial production lines; building the Institute into a reputable domestic EPCM contractor.

Building on the results of the Congress, in the coming time, Party committees at all levels will focus on leading, directing, and organizing the thorough dissemination of the Congress Resolution to cadres and Party members of the Party Committee, striving to achieve the set targets, meeting the expectations and hopes of all cadres, Party members, officials, and workers.
