In the exciting atmosphere of completing the 2018 work plan and welcoming the new year 2019, on the morning of January 30, 2019, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering organized a meeting with former leaders of the Institute and former heads of units retired in Hanoi. This is an annual meeting held by the Institute every year on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

Attending the meeting were all members of the Institute's leadership board, the Party Committee of the Institute, representatives of units and organizations within the Institute, and nearly 40 former leaders of the Institute and former heads of units retired in Hanoi.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Institute's leadership board, Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Institute, reported on the Institute's achievements in 2018, outlined the Institute's work directions for the coming period, and extended New Year wishes and good health to the former leaders of the Institute and former heads of units on the occasion of the Year of the Pig.

In a warm, cordial, and sincere atmosphere, generations of Institute leaders and unit heads expressed their views and wished good health to the Institute's leadership board and all officials and employees currently working at the Institute; they wished the Institute to grow stronger and more sustainable. This is also a source of pride for the generations of Institute leaders and unit heads who have worked at the Institute.
