In the jubilant atmosphere of welcoming the new year 2020, on the morning of January 3, 2020, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering organized a meeting with former Institute leaders and retired unit leaders residing in Hanoi. This is an annual gathering that the Institute holds every year during the Tet holiday and spring season.

Attending the meeting were comrades from the Institute's leadership board, the Institute's Party Committee, representatives of units and organizations within the Institute, and nearly 50 officials who are former Institute leaders and retired unit leaders residing in Hanoi.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Institute's Leadership, Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Institute, announced the Institute's work achievements in 2019 and the work direction for the coming period, and wished good health and a Happy New Year to the comrades who are former Institute leaders and unit leaders on the occasion of the Year of the Rat (Canh Ty spring).

In a warm, affectionate, and sincere atmosphere, generations of Institute leaders and unit leaders expressed their opinions and extended good health wishes to the Institute's leadership board and all officials and employees currently working at the Institute; they wished the Institute ever greater and sustainable development. This is also a source of pride for the generations of Institute leaders and unit leaders who have worked at the Institute.
