On the morning of March 11, 2026, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering held a conference to announce and present the Decision on the reappointment of Comrade Phan Huu Thang to the position of Vice President of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering.

Attending the conference were Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, President; Comrades Vice Presidents; Comrades members of the Party Committee Executive Board; Heads of specialized units; Heads and Deputy Heads of functional departments; Heads of mass organizations, along with key staff of the Center for Industrial Inspection and Technology. 

Acting on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and on behalf of the Institute's leadership collective, Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, President, presented the decision, offered flowers, and congratulated Comrade Phan Huu Thang, who was reappointed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to the position of Vice President of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering.

Comrade Phan Huu Thang expressed gratitude to the Ministry's leadership for their trust in reappointing him to the position of Vice President of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering and pledged to strive with all his might, unite, and, together with the Institute's leadership collective, successfully fulfill the assigned tasks.
