On the morning of March 14, 2026, at Meeting Room 209, Headquarters of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, the Institute held the Institute-level doctoral thesis defense ceremony for doctoral candidate Nguyen Thai Son, currently a lecturer at the University of Transport and Communications:

The doctoral thesis evaluation committee consisted of 7 members: Chairman of the Committee: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thu Quy (National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering); Secretary of the Committee: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dao Duy Trung (National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering); 3 Reviewers: Prof.Dr. Nguyen Duc Toan (Hanoi University of Science and Technology), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Tien Dung (Hanoi University of Industry), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Got (National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering); 2 Members: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Thao (Academy of Military Science and Technology) and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Cuong (University of Transport and Communications).

Attending the thesis defense ceremony, from the leadership of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, there was Dr. Vu Van Khoa - Deputy Director; from the University of Transport and Communications, there was Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Hoai Duc - Vice Principal of the university. Guests also included many teachers, scientists from inside and outside the Institute, many colleagues, family members, and friends of the doctoral candidate. 

Results of the committee's evaluation meeting: The quality and format of the thesis fully meet the requirements of a doctoral thesis in Mechanical Engineering according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education & Training and the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, with 100% of the committee members voting in favor, including 2/7 votes for excellent. The results of the thesis have been published in 1 Scopus Q2 article; 1 Scopus Q3 article; 2 Scopus Q4 articles; 1 book chapter by Springer Nature Publisher, and 3 domestic journal articles.
