Acceptance of completion of the project: "Upgrading the control, signal protection, and measurement system of 8 generating units of Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant"

On August 20, 2019, at the Hoa Binh Hydropower Company, a meeting was held for the investor-level acceptance of the completed project: “Upgrading the control, protection, signal and measurement system for 8 generating units of the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant”.

 

The investor-level acceptance meeting was chaired by Mr. Ngo Son Hai, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group, with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Director of Hoa Binh Hydropower Company; Mr. Phan Dang Phong, Director of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering; Mr. Anton Schindele, Vice President of Andritz Hydro GmbH, representing the Andritz – Narime joint venture contractor; and representatives from relevant units.

 

After inspecting the upgraded equipment system and hearing reports from Hoa Binh Hydropower Company, Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company No. 2, National Load Dispatch Center A0, and representatives of the Andritz – Narime contractor, the Acceptance Commission highly appreciated the contractor’s implementation quality and unanimously approved the final acceptance of the project: “Upgrading the control, protection, signal and measurement system for 8 generating units of the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant”.

 

Key information of the project: Contract No. 178/TĐHB signed on October 15, 2015; Investor: Hoa Binh Hydropower Company; Project Consultant: Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company No. 2; Joint venture contractor: Andritz – Narime; Total contract value: ~11 million USD.

 

The project was completed with high quality and met the Investor’s schedule requirements, demonstrating the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering’s capability to execute highly complex EPC projects.
