On the afternoon of February 1, 2018, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering held a meeting with retired staff members of the Institute who retired in 2017.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Institute's Leadership, the Institute's Party Committee, representatives of units and organizations within the Institute, and retired staff members of the Institute who retired in 2017.

Comrade Nguyen Chi Sang delivered a speech, inquired about their health, extended New Year wishes to the retired staff and their families, and acknowledged the contributions of the staff members to the development of the Institute.

The retired staff members expressed their gratitude for the Institute's care and support throughout their tenure, wished good health to the members of the Institute's leadership board and unit leaders, and wished the Institute continued sustainable development.

At the end of the ceremony, the Institute's leadership, the Trade Union Executive Committee, and various units presented gifts and flowers to the retired staff members.

The meeting and farewell took place in a joyful, warm, affectionate, and moving atmosphere.
