In the exciting atmosphere of completing the 2020 work plan and welcoming the new year 2021, celebrating the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on the morning of January 22, 2021, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering organized a meeting for former leaders of the Institute and retired heads of units in Hanoi.

Attending the meeting were Comrade Phan Dang Phong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Institute, the Institute's Party Committee, representatives of units and mass organizations within the Institute, and nearly 40 former leaders of the Institute and former heads of units who had retired in Hanoi.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Institute's leadership, Comrade Phan Dang Phong inquired after their health, extended New Year greetings to the former leaders of the Institute and unit leaders, and reported on the Institute's achievements in 2020 and its work directions for the coming period.

At the ceremony, the Institute was honored to receive a collection of technical books compiled and donated by Assoc. Prof. Ha Van Vui.

In a warm, affectionate and sincere atmosphere, generations of Institute leaders and unit leaders expressed their opinions and wished good health to the Institute's leadership board and all staff members currently working at the Institute; they wished the Institute continued strong and sustainable development. This is also a source of pride for the generations of Institute leaders and unit leaders who have served at the Institute.
