In the exciting atmosphere of completing the 2017 work plan and welcoming the new year 2018, on the morning of February 1, 2018, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering organized a meeting with former leaders of the Institute and retired unit leaders in Hanoi. This is an annual meeting organized by the Institute every year on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and spring.

Attending the meeting were all members of the Institute's Leadership, the Party Committee of the Institute, representatives of units and organizations within the Institute, and nearly 40 former leaders of the Institute and retired unit leaders in Hanoi.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Institute's Leadership, Comrade Nguyen Chi Sang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Institute, extended greetings, wished good health, and offered New Year wishes to the former leaders of the Institute and unit leaders, and reported on the Institute's achievements in 2017 and the work direction for the coming period.

In a warm, cordial, and sincere atmosphere, generations of Institute leaders and unit leaders expressed their opinions and wished good health to the Director, the Institute's leadership board, and all staff members currently working at the Institute; they wished the Institute continued strong and sustainable development. This is also a source of pride for the generations of Institute leaders and unit leaders who have worked at the Institute.
