Hanoi transfers 4 Party organizations to be directly under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade
On the afternoon of July 29, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on the transfer and reception of Party organizations and party members.
Attending the conference were comrades who are members of the Central Committee of the Party: Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh...
At the conference, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien and Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh presented flowers and handed over the decisions on the transfer and reception of 4 Party organizations under the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee to be under the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee, under the Government Party Committee.
Specifically, transfer the Party Committee of the Leather and Footwear Research Institute, comprising 3 Party cells with 41 party members, from the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee; transfer the Party Committee of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, comprising 17 Party cells with 110 party members, from the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee; transfer the Party Committee of the Mining and Metallurgy Science and Technology Institute, comprising 9 Party cells with 74 party members, from the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee; transfer the Party Committee of the Food Industry Institute, comprising 4 Party cells with 54 party members, from the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee.
On behalf of the transferred and received units, Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, expressed his honor and sincerely thanked the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee for creating favorable conditions for the 4 Party Committees to complete all assigned tasks, including successfully organizing the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Comrade Phan Dang Phong stated that the transfer of the 4 Party organizations under the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee, under the Government Party Committee, is of great significance. In that spirit, Comrade Phan Dang Phong expressed his hope to continue receiving direct guidance from the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee in the coming time; and pledged to promote the achieved results, strive to build a clean and strong Institute Party Committee, excellently complete assigned tasks, and contribute to building a successful Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh said that, following the direction of the Central Committee, on February 7, 2025, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee issued a decision to establish the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee. The Standing Committee of the City People's Committee Party Committee has focused on directing advisory agencies to urgently develop plans to consolidate and strengthen grassroots Party organizations and party members, ensuring synchronization between Party work and governmental work.
At the same time, the city arranged to receive Party organizations transferred from localities to operate along sectoral lines, such as: Tax, Treasury, Inspection, Judgment Enforcement... under the City People's Committee Party Committee; among which, 82 Party organizations and party members in non-State enterprises and other types of enterprises were transferred to local party committees within the city.
"Today, we continue to transfer 4 Party organizations to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee. To date, the City People's Committee Party Committee has 61 Party organizations with nearly 21,000 party members," Comrade Tran Sy Thanh said.
Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh affirmed that this is a correct and reasonable policy, ensuring unity and synchronization in leading and directing the implementation of professional tasks as well as the implementation of resolutions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee; helping to make direction, administration, inspection, and supervision more synchronized and effective.
The transfer also helps the Party organizations operate more effectively and closely with their assigned political tasks; creating conditions for the Ministry of Industry and Trade to strengthen leadership and direction over its subordinate units, ensuring unity throughout the system.
Comrade Tran Sy Thanh emphasized that the 4 Party organizations transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee this time are all well-organized Party organizations. All units have completed the organization of the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. In that spirit, Comrade Tran Sy Thanh requested the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee to pay attention, direct specialized agencies to create conditions, and continue to guide professional work so that the received Party organizations can stabilize soon, without interruption in activities and party member management.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Party Committee and Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien congratulated the 4 Party organizations under the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee on being transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee. These are 4 party committees of non-business units, with many contributions to the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. This transfer is a correct policy, suitable to the current reality when implementing the two-tier local government model nationwide.
On behalf of the Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien sincerely thanked the Hanoi City People's Committee Party Committee for creating all conditions, both in professional and Party work, for these 4 Party organizations to complete all assigned tasks. In particular, the City People's Committee Party Committee prepared for this transfer smoothly, in line with the direction of the Central Committee.
Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien requested that the 4 Party organizations newly transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee, while still having their offices and working within Hanoi, should continue to actively contribute together with the city in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien also expressed hope that Hanoi City will continue to create conditions for these 4 Party organizations to continue completing their professional tasks and Party work in the coming time.
