On the morning of January 17, 2022, the Conference of Officials and Employees of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering for the year 2021-2022 was solemnly held.

Attending the Conference were Comrade Phan Đăng Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Institute; Comrade Vũ Văn Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Institute; Comrade Phan Hữu Thắng, Deputy Director of the Institute; comrades in the Institute's Party Executive Committee, leaders of units, functional departments, and all officials and employees.

Comrade Vũ Văn Khoa, on behalf of the Institute's Leadership, presented the Summary Report on the work of 2021 and the work orientation of the Institute for 2022.

Comrade Phạm Công Thành, on behalf of the People's Inspection Committee, reported the summary of work in 2021 and the work orientation for 2022.

The delegates attending the conference delivered discussion opinions, contributed to the Summary Report on the work of 2021 and the work orientation for 2022 of the Institute, and shared experiences, difficulties, and advantages of their units over the past year.

Comrade Phan Đăng Phong, Director of the Institute, answered questions and discussion opinions and summarized the conference.

As a result of the emulation movement in 2021, the Institute had 12 out of 19 collectives achieving the title of Excellent Unit, 7 out of 20 collectives achieving the title of Advanced Unit, 55 individuals achieving the title of Grassroots Emulation Fighter, and 288 individuals achieving the title of Advanced Worker.

Comrade Dương Trọng Đông, President of the Institute's Trade Union, launched an emulation movement among officials and employees to achieve accomplishments in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (July 6, 1962 – July 6, 2022).

The conference voted to adopt a Resolution with specific targets for 2022 to be achieved and higher than those of 2021.
