On the morning of January 16, 2019, the Conference of Officials and Employees of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering for the year 2018 – 2019 was solemnly held.

Attending the Conference were Comrade Phan Đăng Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Institute; Comrade Vũ Văn Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director; Comrade Nguyễn Hải Hà, Deputy Director; Comrade Nguyễn Chỉ Sáng, former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Director; Comrade Phan Thạch Hổ, former Secretary, former Deputy Director; comrades who are leaders of units, functional departments, and all officials, employees, and workers of the Institute.

Deputy Director Nguyễn Hải Hà, on behalf of the Institute's Leadership, presented the Summary Report on the work of 2018 and the work direction of the Institute for 2019.

The delegates attending the conference delivered discussion opinions, contributing to the Summary Report on the work of 2018 and the work direction for 2019 of the Institute, sharing experiences, difficulties, and advantages in implementing contracts/projects of their units.

Head of the People's Inspection Board Phạm Văn Hùng reported on the verification of delegate eligibility and summarized the work of 2018 and the work direction for 2019 of the People's Inspection Board.

The delegates attending the Conference proceeded to vote to elect the People's Inspection Board for the 2019 – 2020 term.

Director Phan Đăng Phong delivered a speech responding to the discussion opinions and summarized the conference.

As a result of the emulation movement in 2018, the Institute excellently completed all targets set for 2018, with 18/20 collectives achieving the title of outstanding unit, 02/20 collectives achieving the title of advanced unit, 46 individuals achieving the title of grassroots-level emulation fighter, and 164 individuals achieving the title of advanced laborer.

The Conference voted to adopt a Resolution with specific targets for 2019 to meet and exceed those of 2018.
