On the morning of January 13, 2021, the Conference of Civil Servants and Employees of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering for the 2020–2021 period was solemnly held.

Attending the Conference were Comrade Phan Đăng Phong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Institute; Comrade Vũ Văn Khoa – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Institute; Comrade Nguyễn Hải Hà – Deputy Director of the Institute; Comrade Nguyễn Chỉ Sáng – former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Director of the Institute; members of the Institute's Party Committee, leaders of units and functional departments, and all employees and workers.

Mr. Nguyễn Hải Hà, on behalf of the Institute's Leadership, presented the Summary Report on the Institute's work in 2020 and the work orientation for 2021.

The delegates attending the conference delivered discussion speeches, contributed to the Summary Report on the Institute's work in 2020 and the work orientation for 2021, and shared experiences, difficulties, and advantages of their units over the past year.

Mr. Phạm Văn Hùng, on behalf of the People's Inspection Board, presented the summary report on its work in 2020 and the work orientation for 2021.

At the Conference, the attending delegates voted to elect the People's Inspection Board for the 2021–2022 term.

Mr. Phan Đăng Phong, Director of the Institute, answered questions and discussion opinions, and summarized the conference.

Regarding the results of the emulation movement in 2020, the Institute had 13 out of 20 collectives achieving the title of Excellent Unit, 05 out of 20 collectives achieving the title of Advanced Unit, 54 individuals achieving the title of Grassroots Emulation Fighter, and 256 individuals achieving the title of Advanced Worker.

The Conference voted to adopt a Resolution with specific targets for 2021, aiming to meet or exceed those of 2020.
