On December 21, 2108, at the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (NARIME), the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises (VAMI) held the 2nd "Association Council Conference" of the IV term.

Attending the conference were representatives from the Government Office, the Chairman of the Association, Vice Chairmen of the Association, members and commissioners of the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises.

Mr. Dao Phan Long, Chairman of the Association, on behalf of the Association Council, reported on the Association's activities from the IV term congress to the present.

The members attending the conference enthusiastically endorsed the report, expressed their opinions at the conference, and hoped that the Association would continue to leverage its strengths in participating with the Government, Ministries, and sectors in formulating policies and mechanisms for developing domestic mechanical engineering, coordinating production and business, and promoting the strengths of each member within the Association.

The conference decided on several important organizational issues and activity plans for the first six months of 2019.
