Pursuant to Regulation No. 96-QD/TW dated February 2, 2023 of the Politburo on conducting confidence votes for leadership and management positions in the political system and Plan No. 17-KH/BCSD dated August 16, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on conducting confidence votes for leadership and management positions at the Ministry of Industry and Trade and its affiliated agencies, units, and enterprises.

On September 20, 2023, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering organized a mid-term confidence vote conference for leadership and management positions for two comrades: Comrade Vu Van Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director, and Comrade Phan Huu Thang, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Director.

Attending the conference, on behalf of the Party Committee of Hanoi State-owned Enterprises, were Comrade Nguyen Van Mach, Deputy Secretary, Comrade Tran Hoang Ha, Deputy Head of the Organization Department; on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Comrade Phung Quoc Hoang, Specialist of the Personnel Organization Department; on behalf of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, along with members of the Institute's Party Executive Committee, heads of units, and heads of organizations and unions under the Institute.

Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, delivered the opening speech of the conference, providing guidance on the purpose and requirements of conducting confidence votes for leadership and management personnel as stipulated.

Subsequently, Comrade Vu Van Khoa and Comrade Phan Huu Thang presented their Reports as confidence vote recipients and the required documents before the conference. Attending delegates provided comments, remarks, contributions, and cast their confidence votes for the two Deputy Directors subject to the confidence vote in this session.

Comrade Nguyen Van Mach, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanoi State-owned Enterprises, delivered a speech before the conference.

Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, delivered closing remarks and concluded the conference.

The confidence vote conference for leadership and management positions at the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering concluded successfully with high confidence results for the two leaders subject to the mid-term confidence vote.
