Implementing Regulation No. 96-QD/TW dated February 2, 2023 of the Politburo on the vote of confidence for leadership and management positions in the political system and Plan No. 17-KH/BCSD dated August 16, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the vote of confidence for leadership and management positions at the Ministry of Industry and Trade and its affiliated agencies, units, and enterprises.

 On October 2, 2023, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering organized a mid-term vote of confidence conference for the leadership and management position of Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering.

Attending the conference, on behalf of the Hanoi Enterprise Party Committee, there were Comrade Nguyen Truong Son, Secretary of the Party Committee; Comrade Nguyen Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee and Chief of the Party Committee Office; on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, there was Comrade Phung Quoc Hoang, Specialist of the Department of Organization and Personnel; on behalf of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering: Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director; Comrade Vu Van Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director; Comrade Phan Huu Thang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director; members of the Institute's Party Executive Committee, heads of units, and heads of organizations and unions under the Institute.

Comrade Vu Van Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director, delivered the opening speech of the conference, thoroughly explaining the purpose and requirements of the vote of confidence for leadership and management cadres as per regulations.

Comrade Nguyen Truong Son, Secretary of the Hanoi Enterprise Party Committee, delivered a directive speech at the conference.

Subsequently, Comrade Phan Dang Phong presented the Report of the person subject to the vote of confidence and the required documents before the conference. The attending delegates provided opinions, comments, contributions, and cast their mid-term votes of confidence for Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director.

Comrade Vu Van Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director, delivered the closing speech of the conference.

 The vote of confidence conference for the leadership and management position at the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering concluded successfully with a very high mid-term vote of confidence result for Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director.
