The National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises, the Department of Science and Technology (Ministry of Industry and Trade), and the Department of Science and Technology for Economic-Technical Sectors (Ministry of Science and Technology), co-organized a thematic workshop on "Research, design, manufacture, and commissioning of auxiliary equipment systems for coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600MW" at the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (No. 4 Pham Van Dong, Mai Dich, Cau Giay, Hanoi). To prepare for the workshop, the Organizing Committee issues Announcement No. 2, inviting managers, scientists, and interested individuals to attend the workshop.

1. Main content includes the following specialized workshop topics:

• Research, design, manufacture, assembly, and commissioning of coal unloading and conveying systems for coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600 MW.
• Research, design, manufacture, and commissioning of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems for coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600 MW.
• Research, design, manufacture, and commissioning of integrated ash and slag disposal systems for pulverized coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600 MW.
• Research, design, manufacture, and commissioning of flue gas exhaust systems for coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600 MW.
• Research, design, manufacture, and commissioning of cooling water systems for coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600 MW.
• Research, calculation, design, manufacture, installation, and operation of output distribution substations up to 500kV and integration of secondary systems for coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600 MW.
• Research, design, manufacture, and assembly of fire prevention and firefighting systems for coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600 MW.
• Development of technical design for coal-fired thermal power plants with unit capacity up to approximately 600 MW.
• Research and development of solutions, regulations, and management and organizational procedures for implementing thermal power plant projects under Mechanism 1791.
