Implementing the Development Strategy of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering on the localization of gas-fired thermal power plants. On August 16, 2023, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering opened a training course on fundamental knowledge of gas-fired power plants for engineers and scientists within the Institute.

Attending the opening ceremony were the Institute Director - Dr. Phan Dang Phong, Deputy Director - Dr. Vu Van Khoa, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Duy Nghia – Chairman of the Vietnam Thermal Science and Technology Association, and 50 trainees who are engineers and scientists working at the centers and units under the Institute.

Institute Director Phan Dang Phong delivered the opening speech for the course and sincerely thanked Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Duy Nghia for taking the time to prepare the lesson plan and impart fundamental knowledge about gas-fired power plants to the Institute's engineers and scientists, while also wishing the trainees to acquire much practical knowledge to serve the work of their units in the coming time.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Duy Nghia conveyed fundamental knowledge and engaged in in-depth discussions on gas-fired power plant equipment systems with the trainees.
