On the morning of May 19, 2023, at the meeting room on the 4th floor of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering headquarters, the Institute held the Institute-level doctoral thesis defense ceremony for PhD candidate Ngo Xuan Cuong (currently working at the Key Laboratory of Welding Technology and Surface Treatment - No. 4 Pham Van Dong Street, Mai Dich Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi).

Thesis title: "Research on plasma spray coating technology to create silicon carbide coating on steel surfaces for corrosion protection in fluorine-containing acid environments".

The result of the Institute-level Doctoral thesis defense of PhD candidate Ngo Xuan Cuong was evaluated by the Committee with a unanimous approval vote of 7/7, including 2/7 excellent votes.
