On the morning of July 30, 2023, at Meeting Room 209, 2nd floor of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering headquarters, the Institute held the Institute-level Doctoral thesis defense ceremony for PhD candidate Tran Dinh Hieu, currently a lecturer at Vinh University of Technical Education.

Thesis title: “Study on the influence of grinding parameters of alloy steel Archimedes screw on surface roughness and wheel wear”.

Attending the defense ceremony, from the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering was Mr. Phan Huu Thang - Deputy Director; from Vinh University of Technical Education was Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Chairman of the University’s Trade Union, Head of the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, along with many educators, scientists from inside and outside the Institute, colleagues, family, and friends of the PhD candidate. 

The result of the Institute-level Doctoral thesis defense of PhD candidate Tran Dinh Hieu was evaluated by the Committee with a unanimous vote of 7/7, including 3/7 votes of excellence.
