On March 28, 2018, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering solemnly held the Ceremony to Announce and Present the Decision of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the Appointment of the Director of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering.

Comrade Cao Quoc Hung, member of the Party Affairs Committee, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade presided over the ceremony; also attending the ceremony were Comrade Ly Quoc Hung, member of the Party Affairs Committee, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, and Comrade Tran Viet Hoa, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Science and Technology – Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Comrade Ly Quoc Hung announced Decision No. 668/QĐ-BCT dated March 1, 2018 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on the time-limited appointment of Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Deputy Director of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, to the position of Director of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Comrade Phan Dang Phong will assume the duties of Director from April 1, 2018, replacing Comrade Nguyen Chi Sang, who ceases management and administration under the social insurance regime and continues to engage in professional and scientific-technological work.

In his remarks on the operational process and commendation of the outstanding achievements of the collective of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering over the past more than 15 years, Deputy Minister Cao Quoc Hung acknowledged the great contributions of former Director Nguyen Chi Sang and thanked Comrade Nguyen Chi Sang for his contributions and dedication to the Ministry of Industry and Trade in general and the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering in particular…

Deputy Minister Cao Quoc Hung spoke to assign tasks and congratulated Comrade Phan Dang Phong on being trusted and appointed by the collective of the Party Affairs Committee of the Ministry and the Ministry’s leadership to the position of Director. This is the result of Comrade Phan Dang Phong’s continuous efforts, striving, and training during his work, as well as the trust of the leadership collective and all officials and employees of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering. The Deputy Minister requested Comrade Phan Dang Phong, in his capacity as Director, to continue promoting the Institute’s traditions, make efforts to learn, strive, and train to lead the Institute to successfully fulfill the assigned tasks in the coming time.

At the same time, the Deputy Minister also expressed confidence that the leadership collective and officials and employees of the Institute will promote the spirit of solidarity and close coordination to build the Institute stronger and more developed, and excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party Affairs Committee of the Ministry and the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
