The signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement on science, technology, and training between the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (NARIME) and Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) took place at NARIME headquarters on the morning of May 14, 2024.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of HaUI, were Meritorious Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong - Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - Head of the Department of Science and Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga - Director of the Center for Postgraduate Training; Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Acting Head of the Office of External Relations; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tu - Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. On behalf of NARIME, attendees included Dr. Vu Van Khoa - Vice Director; Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Vice Director; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thu Quy - Director of the Training Center; Mr. Ha Minh Thang - Head of the Department of Organization and Administration; Mr. Pham Cong Thanh - Head of the Department of Economics, Science, and Technology; Mr. Hoang Van Hung - Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Got - Training Center; and several scientists from the Institute involved in training activities.
Scientists and educators from both sides have engaged in numerous mutual support activities in scientific research and training for decades. The collaborative activities have been quite diverse: coordinating the implementation of several science and technology projects at various levels; co-authoring approximately 30 domestic and international scientific articles/reports and one monograph; jointly training 8 doctoral candidates, of whom 6 have received their doctoral degrees and are currently lecturers at HaUI; in addition, many scientists with master's degrees and engineers from NARIME have been trained and graduated from HaUI.
The signing of this Cooperation Agreement reflects the sincere recognition by the leadership of both sides of the achievements attained, serving as a foundation for new collaborative developments in scientific research and training over the next five years.
