On the morning of July 25, 2025, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering solemnly held a meeting with officials, employees, and policy-beneficiary families on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025).

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the Institute: Comrade Phan Dang Phong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director; comrades from the Leadership Board, the Executive Committee of the Institute’s Party Committee, heads of functional departments, representatives of mass organizations; comrades who are leaders and trade union representatives of units with officials, employees who are war invalids, and relatives of policy-beneficiary families; on behalf of the Trade Union of the Industry and Trade Sector: Comrade Vu Truong Son, Vice President of the Trade Union, Comrade Le Thi Tam, Head of the Legal Policy and Labor Planning Department, representatives of the Propaganda and Women's Affairs Board of the Industry and Trade Sector Trade Union.

Comrade Ha Minh Thang, Head of the Organization and Administration Department, authorized by the Director, delivered the opening speech for the commemorative ceremony.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Institute’s leadership, Comrade Phan Dang Phong delivered a speech reviewing the history and significance of War Invalids and Martyrs Day; the activities of the Party and the State to commemorate and honor the dedication and sacrifice of war invalids and martyrs in the struggle for independence, national liberation, and defense of the Fatherland, and also extended regards and wishes for good health to officials, employees who are war invalids, and relatives of policy-beneficiary families.

Next, Comrade Vu Truong Son, on behalf of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union, spoke, inquired about health, and encouraged officials, employees who are war invalids, and relatives of policy-beneficiary families currently working at the Institute. He highly appreciated the activities of the Institute and its mass organizations towards workers in general and workers belonging to policy-beneficiary groups in particular.

Representatives of the Industry and Trade Sector Trade Union, the Institute’s Leadership Board, and mass organizations in the Institute presented meaningful gifts and took commemorative photos with officials, employees who are war invalids, and relatives of policy-beneficiary families.

The officials and employees who are war invalids and relatives of policy families expressed their feelings and thanked the attention of the Leadership Board, the Institute’s Party Committee, the Industry and Trade Sector Trade Union, and mass organizations in the Institute, while affirming that this is a fine tradition of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering that has been preserved and passed down through many generations.

The meeting on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day took place in a solemn and meaningful atmosphere. This is also an annual ceremony organized by the Institute on July 27 to acknowledge, express gratitude, and pay tribute to the heroes who are war invalids and martyrs.
