Abstract: In the entire spinning industry in Vietnam, there are about 4,000 ring spinning machines in operation serving production, in which the doffing stage of the machines has been automated, replacing manual work; only one worker is needed to serve 4 machines, the machine downtime for removing and placing bobbins and cores into position is reduced by 50%, and the doffing productivity is more than 2 times higher. To ensure stable operation and achieve productivity, the reliability of the mechanism plays a very important role. This study will propose some solutions to improve mechanical reliability for the doffing system of the ring spinning machine.
