On August 4, 2020, the Basic-level Acceptance Council convened to evaluate the project "Research and development of solutions, regulations, and procedures for management and organization of thermal power plant project implementation under Mechanism 1791," code 12/HĐ-ĐT/KHCN, led by MSc. Le Xuan Quy as project principal.

Attending the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Chi Sang, Chairman of the Council, all Council members, Director of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering Dr. Phan Dang Phong, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, representatives of the Department of Economics – Science and Technology, Finance and Accounting, the project principal, and collaborators.

The representative of the project implementation team presented to the Council the objectives, content, implementation process, and results of the scientific and technological (S&T) research of the project.

Members of the Acceptance Council provided evaluations, comments, and suggestions for the project team to complete the report before the State-level acceptance. The Council unanimously approved the basic-level acceptance of the project and requested the Principal and the Host Institution to finalize the dossier according to regulations for State-level acceptance.

On behalf of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Phan Dang Phong reported on the S&T results of the 600MW thermal power S&T project, commended the achieved results of the project, and thanked the Council for dedicating time and providing many valuable contributions to help the project principal and the Institute continue to refine the project.
