Abstract: This paper presents the modeling of random road surface profiles using Matlab software based on ISO 8608 standard. The constructed random profiles are applied to investigate and evaluate ride comfort affecting the perception of passengers traveling in sleeper buses. Passenger perception is assessed through the RMS index according to ISO 2631-1 standard. The vibration model of the sleeper bus used for investigation is a spatial vibration model. The problem is solved by numerical method using Matlab software to obtain results and evaluations.
