Abstract: This paper presents the research results on the design of an automatic roller welding machine. This is a completely new device applied to the production of conveyor rollers with the following main technical features:

- Automatic positioning and clamping, self-centering on the outer diameter

- Adjustable rotation speed suitable for the calculated welding speed

- Welding capability for various pipe types:

+ Simultaneous welding of both pipe ends.

+ Allowable pipe diameter: 76-180 mm

+ Allowable pipe length: 200-2000 mm
