On the morning of January 27, 2024, at meeting room P209 at the headquarters of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, the Institute held the Institute-level doctoral thesis defense ceremony for PhD candidate Do Hai Tinh, currently working at the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality - Ministry of Science and Technology.

Thesis title: “Study on the influence of some plasma welding technology parameters on the quality of SUS304 stainless steel plate welds”

Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Hien (University of Transport and Communications) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Got (National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering); 2 members: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong (Hanoi University of Industry) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Huu Manh (Sao Do University).

Attending the doctoral thesis defense ceremony, on behalf of the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality, there was MSc Nguyen Thi Mai Huong - Director of the Department of Conformity Assessment and Regulation, in addition to teachers, scientists from inside and outside the Institute, many colleagues, family, and friends of the PhD candidate.

The result of the Institute-level doctoral thesis defense of PhD candidate Do Hai Tinh was evaluated by the Committee with 7/7 approval votes, including 3/7 excellent votes.
