On September 10, 2016, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering held an institute-level doctoral thesis defense ceremony for PhD candidate Le Hong Ky. Thesis title: “Study on the influence of Plasma Nitriding technology of Hypoid gear pair on the efficiency of rear axle assembly of domestically manufactured light trucks”, Major: Mechanical Engineering, Code: 62.52.01.03

Attending the defense ceremony from the Institute were Dr. Phan Dang Phong, Deputy Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thu Quy, Director of the Training Center; scientists and educators from within and outside the Institute. Representing the working agency of the PhD candidate was Dr. Cao Hung Phi, Rector of Vinh Long University of Technical Education, along with faculty members of the university.
