On October 22, 2016, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering held a doctoral thesis defense ceremony at the Institute level for PhD candidate Vu Van Khoa. Thesis title: "Modeling and control of overhead cranes to improve working quality", Major: Mechanical Engineering, Code: 62.52.01.03

Attending the defense ceremony on behalf of the Institute were Dr. Phan Dang Phong, Deputy Director; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thu Quy, Director of the Training Center; and scientists and educators from within and outside the Institute.
