On 19/9/2016, the Department of Intellectual Property – Ministry of Science and Technology issued Decision No. 58676/QĐ-SHTT granting a Patent of Invention Protection Certificate: An automatic hydraulic motor that amplifies torque according to load and an automatic electro-hydraulic motor torque amplification system for the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Author: Assoc. The automatic hydraulic motor that amplifies torque according to load and the automatic electro-hydraulic motor torque amplification system have been invented by the authors based on the modification of the oil-supply mechanism for a hydraulic motor from a passive type to an active type in order to achieve the structure and operation of a new type of electro-hydraulic amplification system. The system is built on the principle of an open-loop circuit, but due to its intelligent structure (built – in intelligent feature), it can operate like a servo amplification system. In which, the rotational speed is adjusted by a small-power DC motor (100 – 200W), while the output torque (power 10 – 100kW) automatically self-adjusts according to the value of the resisting torque.

The device of the automatic hydraulic motor that amplifies torque according to load and the automatic electro-hydraulic motor torque amplification system can be applied in practice to hoisting winch systems, lifting and transporting systems, drive systems in machine tools, construction machinery…
