On 30/5/2017, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering completed the dismantling of old equipment including control cabinets, cable trays, power cables, and sensor systems; installed a new control system; conducted calibration tests; and successfully completed a 72-hour endurance run for Phase 1 (units 7 and 8, capacity 240MW per unit) after 3 months of continuous construction. The system is currently operating stably and fully meets the technical requirements of the Project Owner.
The project is currently proposed to be recognized as a youth project by the collective of Youth Union members of the Center for Machinery and Automation, who carried out the survey, design, fabrication, supervision, installation, calibration, commissioning, and training for technical staff of the Project Owner, in consortium with Andritz Hydro Group (Republic of Austria).
