National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering completed the restoration of the turbine shaft bearing for a 620 MW capacity turbine.
On September 5, 2017, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering completed the restoration of the T5 turbine shaft support bearing with a capacity of 620 MW, rotation speed of 3000 rpm for the Mong Duong Thermal Power Plant.
This is a result of the ministerial-level scientific and technological research project in 2012, titled: ” Research on restoring high-pressure turbine bearings for thermal power plants using Babbitt material “.
