National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering Conducts Preliminary Review of First Six Months' Work and Deploys Tasks for Second Six Months of 2018

On the morning of July 24, 2018, at meeting room 209, the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering held a Conference to Review the Work of the First 6 Months and Deploy Tasks for the Last 6 Months of 2018.

 

Attending the Conference were comrades from the Party Committee, the Institute's Leadership, Heads and Deputy Heads of units, Secretaries of Party cells, the Institute's Trade Union Executive Committee, the Youth Union Secretary, Branch Trade Union Presidents, and the Veterans Association President.

 

Comrade Phạm Công Thành, Head of the Department of Economics – Science and Technology, presented the draft report on the review of work in the first 6 months and the deployment of tasks for the last 6 months of 2018 of the National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering. In the first 6 months, the Institute maintained well and regularly the activities of the Sectoral Science and Technology Council, the Mid-term Evaluation Council and the Base-level Acceptance of state-level, ministerial-level and institute-level science and technology projects and tasks in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the procedures of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2008 of the Institute. Regarding economic activities, revenue from signed contracts reached 745 billion VND (equivalent to 265% compared to the same period in 2017) and reached 124% of the annual registered target in the "2018 Quality Objectives". Training activities, mass organization activities, and emulation movements within the Institute continued to be maintained and operated well. Regarding the key tasks for the last 6 months of 2018, the Institute needs to strive to exceed the set work targets for 2018 and prepare a good source of work for the following year.

 

Delegates attending the Conference contributed comments to the report on the review of the first 6 months and the deployment of tasks for the last 6 months of 2018, and proposed solutions for implementing activities in the last 6 months and subsequent years.

 

Institute Director Phan Đăng Phong delivered a speech to clarify the contents of the report, answered the comments of the units, and concluded the Conference.
